Getting started
A practical sequence for bringing ImpactGuard online on your CS2 servers without skipping safety checks.
1. Create Your Organization Account
Register at the panel. Keep your email reachable for billing and security notices. Enable MFA if available.
2. Activate or Purchase a Plan
Start on Free for validation or choose a paid tier from the in-panel store. Confirm license scope matches the number of servers you intend to connect. Paid fees are non-refundable except where mandatory law requires otherwise — see Refund Policy.
3. Download the Plugin
Use the official package from the panel or homepage download section. Verify version strings against release notes when upgrading.
4. Configure Conservatively
Begin with log-first or similarly conservative policy modes while you observe false positive rates. Tune modules using configuration docs.
5. Register Servers & Heartbeats
Add servers in the panel and confirm heartbeats and telemetry paths look healthy before tightening enforcement.
6. Wire Observability
Set webhooks or Discord notifications if you use them. Bookmark status.impactguard.xyz for platform incidents.
7. Train Your Admins
Share documentation with staff who will operate appeals and overrides.
